Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Background

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the solicitation to provide funding to support the implementation of the Community Policing Development Microgrants Program for officer recruitment and retention pilot projects that include quantitative measures of success. A list of activities and strategies based on prior research and best or promising practices should be identified. A variety of objectives can be proposed to achieve the project goals and may involve agency personnel and resources as well as community partners.

 

There are multiple awards available and the total funding is $5 million. Each award is one year (12 months) in length
