Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Staff is seeking approval to enter into a contract with Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program energy supplier MC Squared Energy Services, LLC ("MC2"). The current contract expires on December 31, 2022. The Village has contracted with the Illinois Community Choice Aggregation Network (ICCAN) Principal, Mark Pruitt, for consulting and technical services related to the Village's administration of the CCA. Principal Pruitt recommends a power supply agreement with MC2 through December 31, 2025.

Direct Staff to prepare a contract with MC2 for Board consideration and approval.
Staff concurs with the Village Consultant, ICCAN, and recommends entering into a ComEd default rate price match supply structure contract with MC2 until December 31, 2025. This contract will allow residents to remain in the aggregation program and receive electricity at a rate that is tied to and floats with the ComEd rate, while the Village continues to receive a civic contribution for the Community Choice Aggregation Fund, and advance the Village's climate action goals by dedicating the civic contribution to community clean energy projects.

Fiscal Impact
The MC2 services will be at no cost to the Village. The civic fund contribution will be a minimum of $2,500 per month. In addition to the $2,500 per month Municipal Contribution minimum value, MC2 will provide an additional value of $0.50 for each account served by MC2 above a base volume of 5,000 accounts served. This contribution will provide revenue for the Community Choice Aggregation Fund, used to support priority renewable energy and energy efficiency project...
