Background
Crepas seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-4 liquor license for the property located at 1101 Lake Street. Crepas is women and minority owned business that operates another location in Berwyn, Illinois. Crepas will be a family friendly restaurant that will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner that specializes in crepe offerings with seating for approximately 84 persons. Crepas anticipates opening in the fall of this year.
At its special meeting of August 25, 2022, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Il Vicolo met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-4 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued. Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Crepas as a B-4 licensee.
