Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
The Development Customer Services Department Parking & Mobility Services Division has various items that can be disposed as surplus because they are no longer useful to the Village. Pursuant to an Independent Contractor Agreement, a Contractor will remove various meter poles, backfill the concrete or soil where necessary, and haul away and scrap the poles and meter casings.

Fiscal Impact
The Contractor anticipates a credit will be applied to the project based on the financial return from scrapping the surplus materials. A receipt from the scrap yard will be provided to the Village along with the final invoice for the project. Pursuant to an Independent Contractor Agreement, the total not-to-exceed amount for the project is $3,621.45.

Background
In accordance with Village policy and State law (65 ILCS 5/11-76-4), the Village may, by Ordinance, authorize the disposition of designated personal surplus property in order to dispose of items no longer usable to the Village. Because the identified surplus items have limited revenue opportunities for selling and the cost of removing and transferring the items would supersede their scraping value, Village staff has identified a business, Garcia Property Maintenance, that will absorb a portion of the cost of removing said surplus items in trade for the value achieved by said company in scraping the items. The items brought forth in the recommended ordinance have little to no resale value due to their condition or they have reached their useful life.
