Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village intends to have the Contractor provide support to our Environmental Health Practitioner in conducting food establishment inspection services and commercial plan reviews of food service establishments for the Village’s Health Department pursuant to this Agreement through June 30th, 2023.

Background

The Contractor shall provide inspection services for food service establishments, and any additional Environmental Health Inspections that may arise for the Village’s Health Department at the direction of the Village’s Public Health Director of the Public Health Director’s designee.  The Village shall approve the use of subcontractors by the Contractor to perform any of the Services that are the subject of this Agreement.

 

Fiscal Impact

The services provided under the Agreement are budgeted under the Village Budget Health Services (44550)-Environmental Services (612)-External Support (530667).

Alternatives

The Village is a certified public health department and is required to perform this work related to health inspections. This work could also be performed by a full-time employee.
