Recommended Action
This meeting is for the Finance Committee to provide recommendations to the Village Board regarding the Village Manager’s Recommended Budget.
Prior Board Action
There is no prior Board action associated with this specific item except for various meetings in September and October of the Finance Committee.
Background
The Village Manager’s Recommended FY 2026 Budget, including the capital budget, was presented to the Finance Committee for review in September and October. The next step is to present the Village Manager’s Recommended budget to the Village Board.
Timing Considerations
The Interim CFO will present the Village Manager’s Recommended FY 26 Budget to the Village Board on November 18, 2026. A Truth-in-Taxation hearing is scheduled for November 18, 2026. A public hearing is scheduled for December 2, 2025. Budget adoption is scheduled for December 9, 2026.
