• Pursuant to RES 16-147, the Board confirmed the appointment of CFO Steve Drazner on March 21, 2016.
Background
Historically, the Village Manager has appointed the Chief Financial Officer to serve in the additional capacity of Treasurer, which has distrinct functions under the Village Code. With the hiring of CFO Kevin Bueso on January 12, 2026, the Village Manager has appointed Kevin Bueso to serve as Treasurer. This item is aligned with the Board’s core value of being fiscally responsible with public resources.

The individual appointed as Treasurer must provide a surety bond, which cost is paid by the Village, however, no additional salary is paid for the title of Treasurer.
