Overview
Overview
The Parking Division sent out an Request for Proposals (RFP) for structure maintenance repairs to the Holley Court and Avenue Parking Structure. A total of seven engineering firms appeared at the walk-through and four proposals were received. Staff in conjunction with Walker Restoration Consultant reviewed the proposals. The proposal from J. Gill and Company was the low bidder and best fit the needs of the Village for this project.

Fiscal Impact
The FY2018 budget provides $400,000 for parking structure maintenance in the Holley court Garage and $375,000 for the Avenue Garage.

Background
This project is for Holley Court and Avenue structure maintenance repairs.
Staff in conjunction with Walker Restoration Consultant reviewed the proposals. The proposal from J. Gill and Company was the low bidder and best fit the needs of the Village for this project.
The bid amounts were as follows

Staff further discussed with J. Gill and Company the opportunity to keep sections of the garage open at any given time.
Holley Court Garage: Repairs will include the roof top level (exposed and unexposed areas), the ramp to the roof top, the bridges, the elevator looby areas for all floors, and the stair lobby areas for all floors. The work does not include elevator electrical work.
Please note: Staff will bring forth an additional recommendations on elevator electrical work in July 2018.
Avenue Garage: Repairs include all levels of the garage including lobby areas.

At the March 5, 2018 Board Meeting, a professional services agreement with Walker Parking Consultants/Engineers, Inc. was approved for creating repair documents, construction administration and observation of Holley Court Garage Repairs in an amount not to exceed $53,800 and for the Avenue Garage Repairs in an amount not to exceed $40,000
