Background
On May 20, 2025 the Village Board approved an agreement for the University of Illinois’ EnergySense program to complete a Building Assessment and Energy Efficiency Education program. To date, EnergySense has completed four of the five building assessments and three educational workshops. The original agreement expired in May 2026. To complete the project, the University of Illinois needs a no-cost extension to the project.
Remaining work includes one additional building assessment and a build-out of resources to be housed on the Village website.
