The Village of Oak Park and Oak Park Township have coordinated to provide up to twenty-five (25) parking spaces for Township employees in the Avenue Parking Garage, reducing demand on surrounding streets and improving overall parking availability for Township patrons and the surrounding business and residential areas.

Financial Impact
The proposed agreement generates quarterly revenue for the Village through the sale of parking permits for Township employees, estimated at $2,399.50 per quarter in 2026 and $2,519.50 per quarter in 2027.
