Background
Kyuramen seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-2 liquor license for the property located at 118 N. Marion Street. Kyuramen will be a full-service restaurant with seating for approximately 38 persons. Kyuramen will offer a wide variety of Japanese dishes and beverage service will include sake/Japanese wine and beer.
At its special meeting of November 29, 2021, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Kyuramen met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-2 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued. Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Kyuramen as a B-2 licensee.
