Background
Amerikas seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-4 liquor license for the property located at 734 Lake Street. The property was previously occupied by Urban Spoon, DBA Spoon & Vine who also held a Class B-4 license at the location. At its meeting of August 22, 2017, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Amerikas met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-4 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued by the Local Liquor Control Commissioner. Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Amerikas as a B-4 licensee.
