Additional Information
This proclamation encourages Oak Park residents to turn off unnecessary lights and close drapes after 11:00 p.m. CST during the fall migration season to help protect millions of migratory birds from disorientation and collisions. It also highlights the Village’s ongoing efforts to reduce light pollution, conserve energy, and promote environmental sustainability.
