Introduction

The Engineering Division requested a proposal Baxter & Woodman, Inc. to provide design engineering for Chlorine Conversion at the North, South and Central Pump Stations. Baxter & Woodman has previously managed pump station improvements in the Village and is most qualified to perform these services. Design work is planned to start in May for this project, with the intention of producing plans and specification for construction under a separate contract in 2027.

* The Village Board renewed the Master Agreement with Edwin Hancock Engineering Co. for Professional Engineering Services in 2026 on December 9, 2025 (RES 25-355).
* The Village Board renewed the Master Agreement with Edwin Hancock Engineering Co. for Professional Engineering Services in 2025 on December 3, 2024 (RES 24-387).
* The Village entered into a Master Agreement for Professional Engineering Services with Edwin Hancock Engineering Co on September 21, 2021 (RES 21-220).
Background
The Engineering Division requested a proposal Baxter & Woodman, Inc. to provide design engineering for Chlorine Conversion at the North, South and Central Pump Stations. Baxter & Woodman has previously managed pump station improvements in the Village and is most qualified to perform these services. Baxter Woodman is one of the four engineering consulting firms with a Master Agreement approved by the Village Board for doing projects via a task order procurement process.
