Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. Demolition and construction activities related to School District 200's proposed new four-story, 107,935 square foot replacement addition will require the closure of one full lane on N. Scoville Avenue and the temporary elimination of parking spaces on both sides of the street. The school district requests a waiver of the applicable fees for this right-of-way obstruction through February 28, 2026.

Background
As part of School District 200's IMAGINE Master Plan, the proposed development consists of a four-story building addition faced with brick and stone. The new addition will replace a 104,025 square foot portion of the school building. The District has committed to achieving LEED Silver Certification with the potential for Gold level, installing a green roof, accommodating PV arrays, and potentially installing a geothermal well in 2025.

The approved logistics plan for the development calls for the installation of a four (4) foot tall construction fence along N. Scoville Avenue. The fence would begin just south of the current main entrance at N. Scoville Avenue and Ontario Street and span south just north of the entrance to the Village-owned OPRF High School Community Parking Garage. The fence line would leave one 12-foot-wide lane open for one-way southbound traffic on N. Scoville Avenue towards Lake Street. This is temporary and only needed for the construction period.

School District 200 requests a waiver of the applicable fees for the right of way obstruction, as detailed in their request letter.
