Fiscal Impact
Under this program, funds will be available to reimburse the Village for cameras purchased after July 1, 2020 and before June 30, 2021.
Background
The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board is the state agency mandated to promote and maintain a high level of professional standards for law enforcement and correctional officers. It is the mission of the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board to provide standards and training which enhance the ability of law enforcement to readily and quickly adapt to our rapidly changing society and which can lead to public recognition of law enforcement as a profession.
All equipment purchases must be made prior to the close of the State’s fiscal year on June 30, 2021 and proof of purchase and installation must be made prior to July 31, 2021.
