Recommendation

Adopt the Ordinance.

Background

In the Zoning Ordinance update adopted by the Village Board on September 18, 2017, fence regulations were added. The Zoning Administrator under the Zoning Ordinance now administers those regulations rather than the Village Board. The removal of fence regulations from the Village Code will provide clarity that the Zoning Ordinance is the only source for fence regulations and that the Zoning Board of Appeals is the hearing body for variance requests.
