Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Annually, the Health Department seeks approval for the various grant funding applications it intends to seek in order to offset a portion of the total cost of providing public health services in Oak Park. Attached is a listing and overview of twelve grants being sought.

Fiscal Impact
Attached you will find a listing and overview of public health grants with a total anticipated funding of $314,797. All of the referenced grants are current grants identified within the FY20 Budget and the grant funds offset a portion of the total cost of providing these services. If the Health Department does not receive any of the grant agreements, a recommendation to amend the adopted budget will be presented in order to determine if services will be reduced or fund balance appropriated.

Background
The Health Department has historically provided public health services under grant agreements through the Shawnash Institute, Inc., Cook County, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Department of Human Services. All grants referenced in the attached document have been administered through the Health Department for a number of years. A general description on each grant can be found on the attached documents.
