Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

This proclamation affirms the Village of Oak Park’s recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, observed nationally from September 15 to October 15, as a time to honor the rich histories, cultures, and lived experiences of Hispanic, Latino, and Latinx communities. It acknowledges the resilience and contributions of these communities - shaped through centuries of migration, resistance, and cultural expression - and their vital role in strengthening the fabric of Oak Park. The Village’s ¡Viva! Celebration on October 11 reflects a commitment to celebrating Hispanic culture in its full authenticity, centering voices, traditions, and creativity of the people themselves.
