On July 21, 2026, the Village Board of Trustees adopted a motion to direct staff, the CPOC, and Pivot Consulting Group to draft a Policy within 60 days for Board enactment, restricting the use of pretext traffic stops related to vehicle equipment and other non-safety-related violations in alignment with the Berry Dunn Public Safety Assessment Recommendations. This is a resolution approving a professional services agreement with Pivot Consulting Group to perform this work.
