Overview

Overview

Special Service Area (SSA) #8 was created by Village Ordinance 18-373 on June 4, 2018 to design, construct, install and maintain speed tables, located mid-block on the 1200 blocks of North East Avenue, Columbian Avenue, Linden Avenue, and North Euclid Avenue. The project for this SSA has been completed and staff now recommends terminating this special service area. Should the speed tables require any future maintenance or repairs, such expense would be appropriated and paid from the Public Works operating budget.

Background

Special Service Area #8 was created in 2018 for the design, construction, and installation of speed tables on the 1200 blocks of North East Avenue, Columbian Avenue, Linden Avenue, and North Euclid Avenue. The project is now complete and has been paid by the Main Capital Fund at a total cost of $20,475.61. The total cumulative SSA #8 collections to date equals $17,408.56.

Please note that the Village Board opted not to levy the final installment amount of $3,738 for tax year 2022 (Fiscal Year 2023).
