Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
During the construction of the 2024 Pavement Preservation Project, various quantity adjustments for pavement patching and pavement markings resulted in the final contract cost exceeding the awarded amount by $16,314. The amendment to the contract with R.W. Dunteman Company adjusts the final construction cost for the project from $572,340 to $588,654. There are available funds for these additional costs from savings from completed alley projects.

Background
During construction of the Pavement Preservation project, there were various minor quantity adjustments during construction primarily associated with pavement patching and pavement marking items which increased the final completed contract amount over the awarded amount. The changes amounted to $16,314 and increased the contract from $572,340 to $588,654. The project has been completed and all quantities have been agreed to by the contractor, R. W. Dunteman. There are available funds for this change order from savings in the completed alley improvement projects which were completed under budget.

Fiscal Impact
There is currently $654 available in the FY24 Budget in the Capital Improvement Fund, Public Works - Engineering, for Pavement Preservation account no. 3095-43780-101-570977 to fund the $16,314 needed for this change order.
