Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview

The Village and the Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council Representing the Oak Park Lieutenants and Sergeants Association, representing sergeants of the Police Department, have reached a tentative agreement for a successor labor contract. The duration of this agreement is for three years beginning on January 1, 2023, and expiring on December 31, 2025.

Tentative agreements reached during collective bargaining are reflected in the attached draft agreement.

 

Fiscal Impact

The contract is for a three-year term with a 2.0% market adjustment and 3% annual general wage increases.  In addition, there was a revision to the step structure to remove the first step to be more competitive with comparable communities.
