Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
The proposed amendment is to align job titles currently used with the job classification titles listed in the related appendices to the Personnel Manual for certain positions not cover by a collective bargaining agreement. Additional, authorization for a snow call out compensation plan for designated exempt employees that are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement is also proposed within Appendix I and Appendix VII the Personnel Manual.

Fiscal Impact
The snow call out compensation plan is limited to a total maximum of $20,000 annually which could be distributed amongst nine supervisors based upon the number of snow callout events throughout a winter.

Background
Clerical updates are being proposed to non-union positions in order to align job titles which are currently used with the job classification titles listed in the related appendices to the Personnel Manual.

In regards to authorization for snow call out compensation for certain positions not cover by a collective bargaining agreement, the amendment designates exempt employees that are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. These positions are Street Superintendent, Street Supervisor, Water & Sewer Superintendent, Water & Sewer Supervisor, Forestry Superintendent, Fleet Services Superintendent, Building Maintenance Superintendent, Public Works Office Manager and Environmental Services Manager. The compensation plan consists of two components. The amount of funding provided annually for distribution and how to distribute the funds equitably. Annual average funding for the purpose of this compensation plan is $15,000.
