Introduction
overview
The Public Works Department Water & Sewer Division, on occasion, require the assistance of an outside water and sewer contractor to make a repair when in-house staff are unable to make repairs due to competing priorities or complexity of the required repair. Public Works staff recommend increasing the not to exceed amount to $75,000 because on average the department has contracted repairs annually that total between $70,000 and $80,000 with Cerniglia Co.
