National Small Business Week recognizes the critical role small businesses play in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and contributing to the vitality of the Oak Park community. Small businesses make up the vast majority of businesses in the Chicago metropolitan area and significantly reinvest in local economies. This proclamation highlights the Village’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive business environment and supports ongoing efforts by the Office of Economic Vitality to provide resources and programming for local entrepreneurs.
