Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Background
Fat Cat Art Gallery ("Fat Cat") seeks an Arts and Crafts Establishment D-19 liquor license for the premises located at 19 Harrison Street. Fat Cat plans to serve alcoholic liquor at art shows and paint & sip events at the gallery.

The Village currently has an Arts and Crafts Establishment D-19 liquor license classification, which needs to be amended to incorporate Fat Cat's proposed business model of holding art and craft shows as part of the classification.

The proposed ordinance adds "gallery openings or art and craft shows" as activities allowed under the Arts and Crafts Establishment D-19 classification. The Class D-19 classification would permit a licensee to offer for sale or provide beer, wine, and champagne at gallery openings or art and craft shows. The classification requires that licensees make food available for purchase at all times when beer, wine, and champagne are sold or provided.
