Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Background
The Village and the Union reached a tentative agreement for a successor contract that would expire on December 31, 2028. The terms and conditions are outlined in the collective bargaining agreement, which will become a public document once the Village Board approves the Resolution.
This action also includes a Side Letter of Agreement for the same period regarding incentives to bring forward referrals for those interested in the Police Department and who ultimately become Village of Oak Park Police Officers. This approach has been successful with assisting the Village with recruitment efforts.
Timing Considerations
The Village and the Union reached a tentative agreement on January 16, 2026. This is the Village Board's opportunity to formally approve the contract and create a final executed agreement.
