The Village Board discussed raising the Village Manager’s to execute contracts from $25,000.00 to $50,000.00 at its meeting regarding Village Board Protocols on September 14, 2023.  At that meeting, the Board reached consensus to increase the Village Manager’s authority to this amount.  A separate agenda item has been prepared to amend Section 2-4-13 and Section 2-6-10 of the Village Code to increase the Manager’s authority per this direction.  Amendment to the Village’s Purchasing Policy are also necessary as set forth in the Resolution and the attachment to the Resolution to raise the Village Manager’s authority.
