Recommendation
Recommendation
Adopt the Resolution.

Background
During the construction of the 2023 Bike Boulevard project on Erie Street, there were various adjustments in built quantities versus the original plan quantities for pavement markings and signage which resulted in the final contract value exceeding the awarded amount by $17,870. The Village and the contractor, Marking Specialists Corporation, have agreed to final quantities, and the project was completed earlier this year. This amendment adjusts the final construction cost for the project from $135,548 to $153,418. There are available funds to cover these additional costs from savings in the design of the bike boulevard system.

Fiscal Impact
There is currently $17,870 available in the FY24 Budget in the Capital Improvement Fund, Public Works - Engineering, for Bike Plan Improvements account no. 3095-43780-101-570967 to fund the $17,870 needed for this change order.

DEI Impact
N/A.
