Background

Taco Mucho seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-1 liquor license for the property located at 220 Harrison Street.  The property was previously occupied by District Kitchen & Tap, Inc., which also maintained a Restaurant Class B-1 liquor license at the location.  Taco Mucho will have table seating for approximately 60 persons and will be a neighborhood family taqueria offering a menu of tacos, sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts.

At its special meeting of June 16, 2021, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Taco Mucho met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-1 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued.   Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Taco Mucho as a B-1 licensee.
