National Foster Care Awareness Month and Provider Appreciation day recognize the needs of children and youth in foster care and honors the foster parents, caregivers, and childcare professionals who support their safety and well-being. This proclamation highlights the importance of community partnerships and local organizations, such as Hephzibah Children’s Association and the Collaboration for Early Childhood, in providing critical services to children and families. It reinforces the Village’s commitment to promoting awareness, strengthening families, and encouraging residents to support and engage in foster and child care initiatives.
