Recommendation
Adopt the Resolution.
Background
The NVRs provide video and door access security for all Village facilities. The existing eight (8) NVRs acquired in 2017 have reached their end of life and no longer comply with technology security standards. This project consolidates service to three (3) servers and provides efficiency, reduces power-consuming hardware, and complies with security standards.
The IT department prepared and posted a bid for three (3) R760XD2 NVRs in the Wednesday Journal and on the DemandStar and the Village websites. Ten (10) vendors responded to the bid.
AKA Comp Solutions submitted the lowest bid that met the Village's requirements.
Fiscal Impact
The winning bid is within the anticipated project budget and the fiscal year 2024 (FY24) Equipment Replacement Fund (3029.41300.884.570720) has appropriate funds. No additional funds or budget amendments are required for this $63,161.40 expense in FY24.
