Overview
On August 19, 2021, the Personnel Committee selected GovHR USA, LLC (GovHR) as the preferred provider of executive search services for the forthcoming Village Manager search and selection process. Personnel Committee members interviewed three of five respondents to the Village's Request For Proposals (RFP) for executive search services which was issued July 8, 2021, at the direction of the Personnel Committee. GovHR was the unanimous first choice of the Personnel Committee.

Fiscal Impact
The Professional Service Agreement has a not-to-exceed amount of $32,000 inclusive of add-ons and expenses.
Background
On June 17, 2021, Village Manager Cara Pavlicek submitted her letter of resignation to the Village Board with a final date of employment of August 19, 2021. The Personnel Committee convened on July 6, 2021, and concurred with the staff's recommendation to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for executive search services. The Village received five high-quality responses to the RFP, and on July 29, 2021, the Personnel Committee selected Baker Tilly, GovHR, and Slavin Management Consultants as their top three bidders, and invited them to interview with the Personnel Committee on August 19, 2021. All three firms presented and took questions from the Committee on that date and the Personnel Committee unanimously recommended GovHR be selected by the Village Board to conduct executive search services for the selection of a Village Manager.
