The Village requested a proposal from Baxter & Woodman to update the existing hydraulic model of the water distribution system in order to evaluate the water system's performance and determine recommendations for improvements to improve the system, which will inform the water and sewer rate study and be used to develop a 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan. The cost to update the model and determine recommendations is $66,800. The model was developed in 2014 and has not been significantly updated since its original development.

Background
The Village requested a proposal from Baxter & Woodman to update the existing hydraulic model of the water distribution system in order to evaluate the water system's performance and determine recommendations for improvements to the system, which will inform the water and sewer rate study and be used to develop a 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The model is also used for sizing new water mains, determining estimated fire flows, and proposing water improvements necessary for larger developments.
