The Village contracts with Pest Management Services to conduct inspections and provide treatment for rat control. This item is for the contract renewal to continue to work with Pest Management Services.

Background
This is a core service priority. There are no service changes from prior contracts. Pest Management Services will utilize tamper-resistant bait stations, snap traps, and bait (rodenticide).
A work ticket will be provided following each service. This ticket will describe the inspection performed, the treatment that was provided, as well as any pest activity seen. Pest Management Services will also note any additional work needed to ensure a pest-free environment.
Calendar dates of service include:
January-March and December: Every other week, rodent control
April-May and October-November: Every week, rodent control
June-September: Twice weekly, rodent control
Timing Considerations
The current contract with Pest Management Services ends on December 31, 2026.
Budget Impact
The total cost for this item is $60,806.63. This is an already budgeted expense in the following G/L account: 1001.44550.612.530667.
