Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Background
American House Illinois Liquor, LLC ("American House") seeks the creation of a new Residential Care Facility Class B-7 liquor license classification and the issuance of a Class B-7 license for its location at 703 Madison Avenue. The new license classification would permit residential care facilities to sell and make available alcoholic liquor beverages to residents and guests for consumption in dining areas where food is available and served. A residential care facility is defined in the Ordinance as a group care facility licensed by the State of Illinois, including independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. American House is both an independent and assisted living facility.
