Overview
The Fiscal Year 2022 Fleet Replacement Fund includes the replacement of one Public Works 1999 Trackless MT5 sidewalk tractor and one 2005 Green Machine mini street sweeper to be replaced with one 2022 Multihog CV 350 Sweeper with snow removal attachments. This purchase will be made through the Sourcewell Joint Purchasing Program, an opportunity for governments to leverage and pool resources for better pricing.

Fiscal Impact
The purchase of the one 2022 Multihog CV 350 Sweeper with snow removal attachments will cost $161,452.55
Funding is provided in the Fiscal Year 2022 Fleet Replacement Fund, Public Works Vehicle replacement, account No. 3032-43900-858-570750 in the amount of $220,000.00.
Funds for necessary equipment such as cabin/workspace up fit, additional lighting, etc. will also come from this account but will be purchased separately from vendors who supply this equipment.
Background
The Multihog CV 350 is a multipurpose sweeper that has the ability to change out attachments for snow clearing as well as sidewalk sweeping. This unit is equipped with a 75 HP Tier4/Stage V emissions diesel engine that will be running on B20 Biodiesel. It is equipped with a two cubic yard hopper for sweeping and will also come with a 1/2 cubic yard drop salter for treating pedestrian ways and bike lanes. The vehicle is also equipped with a pressure washer as well for spot cleaning.
