Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Background
The Village of Oak Park recognizes five organizations as partner agencies that assist with meeting Village Board goals. Two of these organizations focus on housing. The Village Board hear two separate presentations from these organizations that will highlight their accomplishments of 2025, their organization's goals for 2026 and their funding request for 2026.

Budget Impact
The Village provided the Oak Park Housing Authority $35,000 in 2025 under GL 1001.46211.230.585652.0000. Their 2026 request is $35,000.
The Village provided the Oak Park Residence Corporation $42,500 in 2025 under GL 1001.46211.280.585652.0000. Their 2026 request is $47,500.
Based on the feedback received by the Village Board, staff will adjust the organization's funding for the fiscal year 2026 budget.
Staffing Impact
Neighborhood Services staff currently oversee these partner agencies. Staff do not anticipate any new or differing staffing impacts associated with the 2026 requests.
DEI Impact
The Oak Park Housing Authority administers the Housing Choice Voucher program in Oak Park, as well as operating Mills Park Tower. The Housing Choice Voucher program provides rent payment subsidies, enabling income-qualified households to lease privately owned rental housing.
