Background
Thai Neighbor seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-2 liquor license for the property located at 250 Chicago Avenue. At its meeting of July 23, 2019, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Thai Neighbor met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-2 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued. Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Thai Neighbor as a B-2 licensee. The LCRB also recommended that establishments that maintained liquor licenses that are no longer in operation be deleted from the Village Code.
