Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
The Village received an Invest in Cook Grant in the amount of $125,000 to help fund the construction of the 2025 Neighborhood Greenway/Bike Boulevard project. The Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) defines the terms and conditions of the grant and construction processes. The project is scheduled to be designed in the fall for construction in the summer of 2025. The estimated cost for construction is $2.5 million.

Background
The Village was recently awarded an Invest in Cook Grant to help fund the construction of the 2025 Neighborhood Greenway/Bike Boulevard project. Staff applied for this grant in May of this year. The $125,000 grant will fund a portion of the construction costs which are estimated at $2,500,000. Design is planned to start this fall for construction next summer. The Transportation Commission will review the draft design and provide input on any requested revisions.

In order to fit with the Invest in Cook grant's goals and scoring, portions of the Neighborhood Greenway system were selected in low- to moderate-income areas and near mass transit stations. A map showing the draft locations is included in the IGA.
