Background
Sea Love Candles seeks an Arts and Craft Establishment Class D-19 liquor license. This license would permit Sea Love Candles to sell alcoholic liquor for consumption during candle-making classes only. Located at 121 N. Marion Street, Sea Love Candles is a new business in Oak Park, working on opening its doors soon to the community to make candles in a coastal-themed ambiance.
At its November 25, 2025 regular meeting, the Liquor Control Review Board ("LCRB") unanimously voted to recommend that Sea Love Candles be granted their D-19 liquor license.
Timing Considerations
If approved, Sea Love Candles would be able to receive their liquor license at the moment their business license is issued and they are ready to open their doors for business.
