Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
This is the final step in the approval process to upgrade the intersections of Fillmore Street & Euclid Avenue and Fillmore Street & Wesley Avenue from two-way STOP-controlled intersections to all-way STOP-controlled intersections. This is a recommendation from the Transportation Commission related to the traffic calming petitions from the 1150 blocks of South Euclid and Wesley. There is a separate item at tonight's Village Board meeting for a Motion to concur with the Transportation Commission recommendations for these blocks.

Background
This agenda item is the follow-up item to the separate agenda item for a motion to concur with the Transportation Commission's recommendations for traffic calming on the 1150 blocks of South Euclid and Wesley, upgrading from two-way to four-way stops at the intersections of Fillmore with Euclid and Wesley, and establishing a 20 mile per hour park speed zone adjacent to Euclid Square Park, and direct staff to prepare the necessary ordinances. This Ordinance upgrades the two-way stops to all-way stops at the Intersections of Fillmore Street with Euclid Avenue and with Wesley Avenue.

Pending Village Board concurrence, staff will install the stop signs and associated pavement markings.

Fiscal Impact
Staff estimates it will cost less than $1,000 to install stop signs. The FY23 Budget includes funds for this work in the General Fund, Public Works - Street Services, account no. 1001-43740-761-560634.
