Background
The Village has three Dell storage arrays that have reached end of life:
Asset 8TG8SD2 — Dell SCv2020 Storage.
Asset 911MXK2 — Dell SCv2020 Storage.
Asset BDX9T2 — Dell SCv3020 Storage.
The Information Technology Department proposes replacing these arrays with one HPE Alletra 5010 Adaptive Flash Array. CDW-G quote No. PZRX442, dated September 29, 2026, includes the array, associated components, and support. It references PEPPM 2026 Catalog Agreement No. 549622-101 (GOV ONLY).
Timing Considerations
All three existing Dell storage arrays have reached end of life. Approval will allow the Village to proceed with replacing this equipment.
Financial Impact
The purchase cost is $85,116.00. Funding is provided in the FY2026 Equipment Replacement Fund, account No. 3029.41300.884.570720. Sufficient funds are available in this account.
Operations Impact
The purchase supports the IT Department’s core service delivery. IT staff will coordinate implementation and the transition from the three existing Dell arrays.
