Additional Information

Fran Sullivan was born in Mingo, Iowa in 1935. She moved to Oak Park in 1964, where she and her husband Monroe Sullivan raised four children. Fran’s life was marked by activism and changemaking, from her support of local non-profits, serving as the only woman on the Triton Community College board, to her work to campaign restricting handguns in Oak Park.
