Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Background
On November 19, 2024, the Board of Trustees approved a Professional Services Agreement with Pivot Consulting Group for the purpose of conducting a review of the Village's Citizen Police Oversight function. This agreement followed an RFP which was issued pursuant to the Village Board's Goal: Community Health & Safety, Priority 3(g) "Evaluate Citizens Police Oversight Committee (policies, procedures, protocols) and make recommendations for enhancements to the current model."
Pivot Consulting Group has engaged with the Village over the past 8 months through five phases of the project including: 1) Conducting a needs assessment, 2) Identifying Best Practices, 3) Consultation & Collaboration, 4) Recommendation Development, and 5) Reporting & Presentation. This process had significant stakeholder engagement that included discussions with elected officials, members of the Citizens Police Oversight Committee, Village staff, Oak Park Police Department staff, and community members. Pivot gathered significant qualitative and quantitative data through interviews, observation, document review, surveys and presentations.
