Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
The Village Manager's Office of Sustainability seeks approval to apply for an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) with the United States Department of Energy to provide technical assistance to support building decarbonization efforts as described in the adopted 2023 Sustainability CIP projects. This grant is in alignment with the adopted Climate Ready Oak Park community sustainability, climate action, and sustainability plan and the Village's adopted 2023 budget and CIP.

Fiscal Impact
The grant assistance can be delivered in the form of technical assistance and/or building equipment. No local cost share is required for this grant.

DEI Impact
Energy burden - having a high cost of energy bill of expenses in proportion to income - is disproportionately experienced by low-income individuals, people of color, and older adults. In accordance the Climate Ready Oak Park commitment, staff plan to a engage with impacted populations in the design and outreach for the clean energy program that is funded by this grant, and dedicate at least 40% of public sustainability funds towards those populations most impacted by energy burden and climate change.
