Background
On September 19, 2022, the Village approved a motion to allocate $3,920 in CDBG Public Service funds for Our Future Reads for PY2022. Recently a donor reached out to the organization to cover the cost of the facility site. Our Future Reads accepted the donation but has unspent funds remaining in the PY2022 unallocated. Our Future Reads is requesting to amend the scope of work for this PY22 to use the balance of funds to purchase shelving for the unit. This shelving would help with the influx of donations being received. This purchase is considered an eligible expense per HUD guidelines.
