Overview
Overview
This is an agreement between the Village and the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council Lodge No. 8 Patrol Officers to implement an alternative work schedule in 2025. This agreement allows the Village and the Union to agree to an alternate work schedule than what is described in the collective bargaining agreement for a one-year period. The Village and the Union typically create these arrangements annually apart from contract negotiations.

Alternatives
The Village Board could seek additional information, however, the timing of this agreement is critical in that there are other operational matters that need to follow this agreement in preparation for the schedule going into effect for 2025.
