Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
The FY 2015 Fleet Replacement Fund Budget includes the replacement of eight Police vehicles. Two of these vehicles will be replaced with 2015 Dodge Chargers, with the Police Package. The SPC awarded the bid to Napleton Dodge of Westmont Illinois.

Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends the approval of a Resolution authorizing purchase of the two 2015 Dodge Charger Police Vehicles from Napleton Dodge and waiving the Village's bid process.

Fiscal Impact
The purchase of two 2015 Dodge Chargers, with police packages will cost $51,808.00.

Funding is provided in the Fleet Replacement Fund in account No. 3032-43900-857-570750. A portion of the funding is through a transfer from the Federal RICO Fund.

Funds for necessary equipment such as light bars, sirens, etc. will also come from this account but will be purchased separately from vendors who supply this equipment.

Background
Each year, the Village allocates funds for the annual replacement of vehicles. The Public Works Department manages the budget for vehicles that will replace those units having reached the end of their service life under the fleet replacement program.
